The Albino Pink Peacock Cichlid is a stunning selectively bred Aulonocara variety admired for its soft pink, peach, and rose-colored tones combined with the striking features of an albino fish, including pale coloration and pink or red eyes. Its delicate appearance and shimmering scales create a unique contrast compared to the bold blues and reds commonly seen in peacock cichlids.
Typically reaching 15–18 cm (6–7 inches) in length, the Albino Pink Peacock is an active but relatively peaceful African cichlid that thrives in aquariums with sandy substrate, rock formations, and open swimming areas. Like other peacock cichlids, it is best kept with similarly sized, peaceful Lake Malawi species and provided with enough space to establish territories.
An omnivore, this cichlid does well on a varied diet of high-quality cichlid pellets, spirulina-based foods, and occasional protein-rich supplements such as krill or mysis shrimp. Maintaining excellent water quality and a nutritious diet will help enhance its natural coloration and support long-term health.
With its elegant pink hues, albino characteristics, and graceful personality, the Albino Pink Peacock Cichlid is a beautiful centerpiece fish that adds a refined splash of color and charm to any African cichlid aquarium.
